According to the Parliament Secretariat, the list of candidates will be published only on Saturday.
The vote will be held at the House of Representatives meeting on Sunday.
There is an agreement to give the Deputy Speaker to the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in the ruling coalition.
Accordingly, the Parliamentary Party will hold a meeting at 9 am today and decide on the party's deputy chairman candidate, the RSP said. There is a talk of Sobhita Gautam as the deputy speaker candidate from RSP.
On the other hand, the Nepali Congress, which nominated the speaker, is also making preparations to submit its candidacy for the post of deputy speaker.
