Two Indian military aircraft encounter collision, claims two lives

At least two persons were reported to have been killed when military aircraft Sukhoi-30 and Mirage 2000 collided with each other and crashed in Rajasthan, Bharatpur in India, Dainik Bhaskar reported.

As per the information received so far, both the planes are feared to have crashed in two different places.

A soure at the Minstry of Defense informed that a Sukhoi-30 MKI and a Mirage-2000 of the Air Force have crashed in course of a military drill, with the other aircraft fell in Morena, Madhya Pradesh. 

Both the aircraft took off from the Gwalior airbase. A crowd of villagers has gathered at the spot. 

According to the villagers, the aircraft caught fire in the sky itself and on seeing it, the burning fighter jet fell. 

There is also a railway station near the spot.  It is being told that the fighter jet took off from Agra.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, police and army officials reached the spot. 

However, details regarding pilots, any further damage of lives and properties are yet to be reported.
