Maoist Center for nat'l consensus to elect President

A meeting of the CPN (Maoist Center)

CPN (Maoist Center) has decided to hold discussions with all the political parties for the election of the President.

A Standing Committee (SC) meeting of the party held at Paris Danda in Koteshwor today took a decision to this effect, party secretary Devendra Paudel said.

Talking to journalists following the meeting Paudel said, "The SC meeting decided to forge a national consensus for the election of the President.

All the parties, we believe, will sit for discussions on the issue of national consensus, and international relation, which needs to be improved, said Paudel.

He further said the Maoist Center is rendering efforts to forge a national consensus including both the UML and the Nepali Congress after the NC gave a vote of confidence to the government.
