Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding a meeting at 11 am today.

The meeting to be held at the central party office in Basundhara will take a final decision on whether to pull out of or stay in the government in case of being denied the Home Ministry.

The meeting has been called even for today as it ended inconclusively on Saturday night.

"The meeting will dwell on the Prime Minister's offer of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure  and take a call on whether to stay in or pull out of the government," said Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, the deputy parliamentary party leader of the RSP.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman KP Sharma Oli held a meeting on Thursday and bought two-days' time for the RSP, according to Dr. Mukul Dhakal, the spokesperson of the party.

The deadline ended on Saturday mid-night.

Prime Minister Dahal asked Rabi Lamichhane to take over the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport yesterday evening.

The RSP's meeting called for today will decide on this offer.

Lamichhane who was forced to resign from the Home Minister on the ground of not having a valid citizenship wants to be reappointed to the same post.

But, Prime Minister Dahal is not in a mood to reappoint Lamichhane as the Home Minister saying that his passport is still disputed and the full text has not come from the Supreme Court yet.
