USAID head Samantha and PM Dahal meet at Singha Durbar

Visiting USAID head Samantha Power has held a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed various matters of bilateral cooperation including USAID support.

“Rt. Hon. Prime Minister, Mr. Pushpa Kamal Dahal ´Prachanda’ received USAID Administrator, H.E. Ms. Samantha Power at Singha Durbar today. Various matters of bilateral cooperation including USAID support were discussed during the meeting,” Prime Minister’s Secretariat tweeted.

Samantha, who came on a two-day visit to Nepal on Tuesday, held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Bishnu Paudel today and with Foreign Minister Bimala Rai Paudyal yesterday.

She visited Adarsha Secondary School in Bhaktapur yesterday and joined a trail race with ultra-marathoner Mira Rai this morning.

Before returning home, she will hold a press conference at Hyatt Hotel this evening.
