Chinese company gets contract to print Nepali bank notes

A Chinese company has got a contract for printing 310 million Nepali bank notes.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, M/S China Banknote Printing And Minting Corporation has been awarded the contract to print 310 million Nepali bank notes of 20-rupee in denomination.

The Chinese company had bidden 4,698,685 US dollars for printing the notes.

Since the tender was of the lowest, the NRB awarded the contract to the Chinese company to print the notes.
