The prices of both petrol and diesel have gone down in India.

According to Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) slashed the price of petrol by Rs 1.97 and diesel by Rs 6.4 per liter.

NOC and IOC have an agreement to set new prices every 15 days. According to the state oil monopoly, the new price came after 15 days today.

Currently, the price of petrol is Rs 175 per liter, and the price of diesel is Rs 172 per liter. However, the governmet has not adjusted the prices of petroleum products saying that the corporation is still in deficit.  The NOC is yet to pay 11 billion rupees to the IOC.
