NUP lawmaker Chaudhari to be released from prison

Arun Kumar Choudhari, the suspended member of the House of Representatives of the Nagarik Unmukti Party |(NUP), is to be released from jail. 

MP Chaudhari, who is incarcerated in Kailali jail, is going to be released on Sunday.

Sources have informed Nepalkhabar that MP Chaudhari's name is also included in the amnesty list granted by President Bidya Devi Bhandari on the occasion of Democracy Day. 

According to a source close to Kailali prison, preparations have been made to release those who have been granted amnesty after 10 o'clock on Sunday after completing the necessary procedures.

Along with him, four other people are also going to be released from Kailali Prison.

President Bidya Bhandari pardoned the sentences of 395 prisoners on the occasion of Democracy Day.

He was found guilty by the court in 2009 for setting ablaze a tractor and was sentenced to six months' imprisonment.
