Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli have started holding a meeting at Baluwatar.
Chairman Oli has reached Baluwatar to hold a decisive meeting with Prime Minister Dahal, sources have said.
Earlier, four parties involved in the old ruling alliance had held a meeting this morning. Leaders have hinted at a gentleman agreement on the president and the vice president in the meeting.
Immediately after the four-party meeting, Oli has reached Baluwatar.
On December 25, Oli had formed a new alliance with the support of six parties and sealed a power-sharing deal, according to which, the president and vice president would go the UML.
With just one day left before filing nominations for the president the current ruling alliance seems on the verge of collapse.
The Election Commission has set Saturday (February 25) for the nomination of the president.
