RPP decides to leave the government

Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has decided to quit the government.

The emergency meeting called by RPP to discuss the changed political situation of the country took the decision to this effect.

The present ruling coalition has broken up after the meeting of 8 parties including the ruling partner CPN(Maoist Center) held on Friday regarding the presidential election decided to extend support to the Congress candidate.

RPP had already decided not to sit as proponents and supporters in the presidential election.
