Foreign Minister Rai flying to Geneva today

Foreign Minister Dr. Bimala Rai is leaving for Geneva to attend a meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council today (Sunday).

Holding a press meet at Singha Durbar today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed about Rai’s visit to Geneva.

Nepal will submit a report on the achievements made in the sector of human rights in the meeting, said Rai.

Nepal is a member of the human rights council.

After attending the meeting in Geneva, Minister Rai will fly to Doha to take part in the meeting of the Least Developed Countries, informed Sewa Lamsal, the Spokesperson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
