The Central Committee meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is being held today.
Chairman Rabi Lamichhane told Nepalkhabar that the meeting will be held at 11 am today at the party's central office in Basundhara.
The meeting is said to discuss the latest political situation and the presidential election.
Apart from that, today's meeting is also likely to discuss whether to withdraw the support given to the government.
Lamichhane has claimed that he is not in alliance or collaboration with any party.
"Now we are not in any alliance," he told Nepalkhabar.
When asked about whether he left the alliance with UML, he said, “We are not with CPN (UML), CPN (Maoist Center) or any other parties. Our party is now moving forward independently.”
