The CPN-UML has decided to quit the government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.

A secretariat meeting held at the central party office in Chyasal, Lalitpur on Monday morning decided to quit the government, informed Astalaxmi Shakya, the Vice-chairperson of the UML.

“The secretariat meeting of the UML has decided to pull out of the government. The party will also withdraw its support to the government,” said Shakya.

The UML has been irked after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ stopped Foreign Minister Bimala Rai Paudyal from going to Geneva on Sunday.
