Himalayan Sherpa Club registered their first victory in the Shahid Smarak A Division League with Amrit Shrestha's decisive goal.
Sherpa defeated Nepal Police Club by 1-0 in the match held at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar on Wednesday. Amrit Shrestha scored a goal in injury time to ensure Sherpa's victory.

In the 32nd minute of the game, Sherpa missed a chance to take the lead against Police when Nishan Limbu missed a penalty.
In the 31st minute, Sherpa got a penalty opportunity after defender of Nepal Police Ajit Bhandari fouled Abayomi Oluwaseun.

In the 41st minute of the match, Ravi Paswan’s cross failed to take the lead as it went wide of the second bar.
In the 43rd minute, Police Club's goalkeeper Shatrughan Chaudhari came out of the box and caught the ball, and Sherpa got a free kick.
In the second half of the game, both teams made some moves but failed to score. In the next match today, Manang Marshyangdi Club and Sankata Club will lock horns.
The match will start at 5:30 pm at Dasharath Stadium.
