Nepal have climbed the 16th position in the one day international (ODI) ranking following their excellent performance in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2.
Nepal won 10 out of 11 matches in the League held recently. Nepal climbed the fourth position with 38 points out of 35 matches of the League 2.
If Nepal win the match scheduled for Thursday, they will qualify for the ODI World Cup Qualifiers.
Nepal have collected 1,167 points so far. India climb atop the points tally with 5,010, followed by Australia and New Zealand.
Nepal were in the 19th position before playing Scotland and Namibia.
Nepal ranked the 16th after they won 10 out of 11 matches in the League, leaving behind Namibia, UAE, America and Papua New Guinea.
