Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has congratulated Rishi Sunak on being chosen as the leader of the Conservative Party and the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
Deuba took to Twitter to extend best wishes to Sunak, who is going to be the first Indian-origin prime minister of Britain replacing Liz Truss.
"I extend warm congratulations to @RishiSunak on being chosen as the Leader of the Conservative Party and the next Prime Minister of the UK.Wish him all the best for this important responsibility.I look forward to working with him to advance the longstanding Nepal-UK relationship," Prime Minister Deuba tweeted.
