The sixth round of the Martyrs Memorial A Division League football tournament has kicked off on Monday.
Two matches were held on the first day of the sixth stage on Monday.
In which the departmental team APF and Sankata Club managed to register victory in their respective group matches.
APF won their third match defeating another departmental team, Nepal Police Club 2-nil in the match at Chyasal ground.
Hari Karki and Sabin Gurung scored one goal in APF's victory.
With the win, APF has climbed to the fifth place after scoring 10 points in 6 matches.
Similarly, Sankata won the next match defeating FC Khumaltar 1-0 at Dasharath Stadium.
Junior Onguéné scored the decisive goal in Sankata's win.
With this win, Sankata, who has scored 9 points in 6 games, has risen to sixth place.
Today's fixture will see New Road Team NRT and Church Boys United clash at Chyasal Ground and Jawalakhel YC and Satdobato YC lock horns with each other at Anfa Complex at 2 pm.
