Chandra Prasad Dhakal, the newly elected president of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), has said that solutions to the current economic crisis can be resolved in coordination with the government and donor agencies.
Dhakal said this while assuming the post of president at the FNCCI's central office in Teku on Sunday.
While speaking on the occasion, he also stressed the need to produce skilled manpower going to work in the country abroad.

"There is an economic crisis in the current situation in the country. Business activities will not increase unless the conducive environment for domestic and foreign investment is created in the industry," he said.
He further said that the concerned parties are ready to take initiatives in collaboration with the government and regulatory bodies on behalf of the private sector.
He said that 500,000 people are leaving Nepal every year. “Most of the manpower have gone for foreign employment. There is a need for a lot of manpower in Nepal, but skilled manpower have not been prepared in Nepal,” he said.
The FNCCI will make the human resources living in and out of Nepal efficient in collaboration with investors and the government.
Similarly, the outgoing president of the FNCCI, Shekhar Golchha, said that he believes that the new leadership will take the country's economy to a new height.
