An all-party meeting which was scheduled for Sunday evening has been adjourned for Monday morning in Chitwan 2.

With the adjournment of the meeting, the counting of votes has also been postponed.

The all-party meeting was adjourned after Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) candidates took the stand saying that they will not sit for the all-party meeting unless the code of conduct violation by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane is investigated, UML candidate Ram Prasad Neupane told Nepalkhabar.

"A complaint has been filed against Lamichhane. There was an agreement among the candidates not to proceed with the counting of votes until the complaint filed against Lamichhane is sorted out," Neupane told Nepalkhabar.

The vote count will start following the all-party meeting. Congress had taken a stand that it would not let the vote count begin unless the complaint lodged against Lamichhane is investigated.
