The counting of votes for Tanahun Constituency 1 is in the final stage.
Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP)'s Dr Swarnim Wagle continues to lead the vote count in Tanahun constituency 1.
According to the latest vote count updates, Wagle has received 27 thousand 988 votes.
Similarly, Nepali Congress candidate Govinda Bhattarai has received 15 thousand 979 votes.
CPN (UML) candidate Sarbendra Khanal is in third place since the beginning. He has garnered 7,379 votes.
The vote-difference between Wagle and Bhattarai is 12 thousand 9 votes.
A total of 63 thousand 759 votes were cast in the by-election on Sunday.
According to the Election Officer, 51 thousand 219 votes have been counted so far, and 12 thousand 540 votes are yet to be counted.
