Invited to bat first after losing the toss, hosts Nepal are batting against Qatar in the final group stage match under the ACC Premier Cup cricket tournament on Thursday.
The match which started at 9 am is underway at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Nepal, which are in Group A, will have to beat Qatar to play the semi-finals as the group winners.
Nepal are in second place with five points after winning two out of three matches and sharing points in one match.

Qatar, who have been out of the tournament after losing all three matches, are trying to seek a consolation win.
Nepal defeated Malaysia by six wickets in the first match and Oman by 84 runs in the second match. The match against Saudi Arabia was canceled due to rain and the points were shared.
Qatar lost to Oman by 40 runs, Saudi Arabia by seven wickets and Malaysia by three wickets.
Having already made it to the semi-finals, Nepal, if defeated Qatar today, will become the group winners with seven points.
