Newly elected MPs Lamichhane and Wagle sworn-in

Newly elected Members of Parliament (MPs) Rabi Lamichhane and Dr. Swarnim Wagle have taken oath of office and secrecy on Friday.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire administered the oath of office and secrecy to them during a ceremony at the Federal Parliament Secretariat.

Janata Samajbadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav, who was elected from Bara-2, abstained from swearing-in ceremony as he is currently in his constituency.

Both Lamichhane and Wagle were elected from Chitwan 2 and Tanahun 1on behalf of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in the by-elections held on April 23.
