A Meeting has been held between the government and chief scientist of National Innovation Center Mahabir Pun, who is currently staging a street protest.
Discussion has been held between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense and Law Purna Bahadur Khadka and Pun at the Ministry to address the latter's demands.
Pun has informed that the discussion was positive and that agreement has been forged to form negotiating teams from both sides for the same.
Pun further informed that the agreement has been reached so as to fulfill the demands by Monday. and that the meet will be held at 3:30 today.
Pun has been staging a sit-in with demands including appropriation of at least 1% budget for Innovation and Research by Federal and Provincial government and also to provide physical infrastructures for the same among others.
