Passengers, who were stranded in Kathmandu due to the cancelation of Kathmandu-Delhi flights, are being taken to Delhi today.
Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is taking the passengers who were stranded in Nepal due to the cancelation of the Kathmandu-Delhi flight on Sunday.
According to Archana Khadka, Spokesperson of NAC, the passengers who were marooned due to the cancelation of Sunday's flight will be taken to Delhi by the NAC's plane today afternoon.
According to Khadka, the NAC is preparing to take the remaining 150 passengers out of 247 to Delhi on its own flight and in collaboration with other airlines.
It is learned that the NAC has already sent some passengers to Delhi with the help of other airlines on Sunday itself.
Passengers were stranded on Sunday after the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) canceled the NAC’s Kathmandu-Delhi flights.
According to the CAAN, the Corporation has scheduled two flights between Kathmandu and Delhi today.
Passengers who reached the airport on Sunday morning were stranded after the CAAN canceled one of the NAC's flight to Delhi saying that it did not operate flights from Gautam Buddha International Airport.
When the Kathmandu-Delhi flight was canceled at 1:45 pm on Sunday, out of 247 people, 100 passengers bound for Japan, America, Germany and other countries were stranded.
