The price of petroleum products has come down.
According to the new price list sent by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) to Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), the price of petrol and diesel has decreased.
According to the new price list, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 4.33 and that of diesel by Rs 4.11.
There is an agreement between Nepal and India where new prices are determined every 15 days. The new price for petrol and diesel has been fixed, accordingly.
According to the new prices, the corporation will now make a profit by Rs 10 per liter of petrol and Rs 6 per liter of diesel.
Currently, the price of petrol is at Rs 175 per liter and diesel at Rs 165 per liter. If this price continues, the NOC's profit will exceed Rs 1 billion in the next 15 days.
