Lumbini's Chief Minister Chaudhary secures vote of confidence

Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary has received the vote of confidence from the Provincial Assembly.

Chaudhary, who was appointed as the Chief Minister on April 27, secured the vote of confidence today.

There were 53 votes in favor of Chaudhary and 29 votes against him.

Choudhary, who became the chief minister from the Congress, was given a vote of confidence by the CPN (Maoist Center), Nagarik Unmukti Party, Janata Samajbadi Party, Loktantrik Samajbadi Party, Janamat Party, CPN (Unified Socialist), Rastriya Janamorcha and independent MPs.

As many 29 MPs of CPN (UML) voted against Chaudhary.
