Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal visited Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautama Buddha, and lauded the importance of Eastern philosophy.

Comparing himself with Chakraborty King Ashoka of the Maurya dynasty, he also said that the achievement of modern development was possible in the light of the ancient civilization.

Addressing the 2567th Buddha Jayanti and Lumbini Day 2080 celebrations on Friday, he also argued that Eastern philosophy is glorious.

"The relevance of non-violent Buddhist philosophy is increasing in today's times when the human conscience and thought stream have been destroyed by the achievements of modern development in the form of the light of Eastern civilization", he said, "Almost all religions and cultures of the world encourage us to follow the bright side by contemplating the essence of life and the world."

He has also discussed that the most important subject of the audience from a philosophical point of view is perception-sumutpada.

During his speech, he also narrated the definition of Nagarjuna, the pioneer of Buddhist secondary philosophy, about the nature of power.

Acharya Nagarjuna, the pioneer of Buddhist secondary philosophy, has defined the fourfold principle of the sense of being or not, being or not, having both or not having both as the true nature of things, he said.

Vaibhasika and Soutrantic theories accept the changing nature of matter.

As the eternal light of a burning candlestick and the changing existence of the eternal current of a flowing river, science makes us realize the transitoriness of being, so Pratinya-Samutpada is also called anityism and ephemerality.

He said that the development process of Eastern society and philosophy is considered to be leading on the world map. From the point of view of Eastern civilization, philosophy and thought tradition, we are both glorious and glorious.

Kirant Darshan, Buddha Darshan, Shaddarshan and other Nepali philosophies have innumerable dimensions of materialistic consciousness, laws of motion, moral education and life value', he said.

He said that it is impossible to achieve success in the journey of civilization and prosperity by ignoring the original philosophy and thought tradition of Nepal.

"Knowledge and philosophy have no national boundaries, the knowledge and experiences gained by mankind around the world are the common wealth and pride of all of us", he further said, "However, we can take new initiatives in the field of knowledge only by promoting and developing our uniqueness and originality."
