Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) Member of Parliament (MP) Prem Suwal sought an answer from the government about those involved in the case of fake Bhutanese refugees.
Speaking at the budget session of the House of Representatives (HoR), which kicked off on Sunday, MP Suwal sought the government's answer about those involved in the case.
After the Speaker gave him time to put his views in two minutes, Suwal said, “We read the news regarding the billion rupees fraud committed by sending Nepali citizens to America in the guise of Bhutanese refugees.The government should make public the names of those involved in the case at the earliest.”
Suwal demanded that the government make publish the names of those who defrauded 875 people of more than one billon rupees (1 to 5 million each) in the name sending Nepali citizens to America as Bhutanese refugees.
