Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane met with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' on Friday morning.
During the meeting held Baluwatar at 8:30 am thanked Prime Minister Prachanda for proceeding with the investigation of the fake Bhutanese refugee case, Lamichhane's secretariat sources said.
"Thank you for opening with the corruption file,” Lamichhane told the Prime Minister.
According to the source, the prime minister responded, "We will open the files of many others, you should also join the government."
Chairman Lamichhane said that although he is not in the government, he will support the Prime Minister's move staying in opposition.
The RSP withdrew its support to the government on May 5.
RSP pulled out of the government after chairman Lamichhane lost his post of MP over the citizenship dispute. But the support was not withdrawn until Lamichhane was re-elected as a member of the House of Representatives through the by-election held in Chitwan 2 on April 23.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Prachanda asked Rabi to join the government, but after not seeing the possibility of getting the Home Ministry, RSP decided to withdraw its support and stay in the opposition.
