The home-manufactured motorcycle 'Yatri', which was under stress due to non-registration by the government body, has been legally registered, finally.
The company is registered as Yatri Design Studio Pvt. Ltd. Yatri launched its product three years ago.
Despite delivering its product a year ago, the market could not expand due to legal complications.
After the news was published, the general public piled pressure on the government to revise the traffic management procedure. The Transport Management Department amended the Transport Management Procedures Guidelines, 2060 recently paving the way for registration of Yatri and other domestic vehicles.
Posting a Facebook message on Monday evening, the company informed that the motorcycle was registered. Yatri has said that its special series Yatri P-1 motorcycle has been registered
On May 3, Prime, Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' met with the Yatri manufacturing team and instructed the concerned department to make the required law for the registration of 'Yatri' motorcycles.
