Koshi Province govt invites agitating groups for talks

The Koshi Province government has formally invited agitating groups who are dissatisfied with the naming of the Koshi Province to come to the talks.

On Tuesday, Bhakti Prasad Sitaula, the spokesperson for the province government issued a statement asking the agitating parties to come to the talks.

"The provincial government believes that peaceful protest and criticism will make democracy much stronger," the statement said, “The Koshi Province government formally invites the concerned parties to come for talks.”

Speaking at the provincial assembly meeting, lawmakers on Sunday urged the government to call the agitating parties for talks immediately.
