The Nepali national football team is facing Pakistan in its last match of the group stage under the SAFF Championship today (Tuesday).
The match between Nepal and Pakistan will be held at Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore at 4:30 pm.
Today's match will be only for prestige for both Nepal and Pakistan, who have been eliminated from the group stage after losing two matches in a row.
After losing 3-1 to Kuwait in the first match of the group stage and 2-0 to the home team India in the second match, Nepal was eliminated from the group stage.
Pakistan lost 4-0 to both India and Kuwait.
The Nepali team, which played in the SAFF finals in the previous season, was eliminated from the group stage. India and Kuwait have entered the last four from Group A where Nepal is placed.
In the next match today, India and Kuwait will meet for the group winner.
Lebanon and Kuwait are also competing in SAFF along with six teams from South Asia. SAFF has invited two teams from outside South Asia for its upgrade.
