ACC East Zone Cup Semifinal: Nepal posts 185-run target for Singapore

Nepal has posted a target of 185 runs against Singapore in the semi-final of the ACC East Zone Cup on Monday.

Electing to bat first after winning the toss at the Bayuemas Oval Cricket Ground in Malaysia, Nepal notched up 184 runs in 35 overs losing nine wickets.

Opener Suryanshu Koirala topped the score with 43 runs followed by Niraj Yadav with 42 runs. Yadav and Koirala shared a partnership of 63 runs in 11.3 overs for the first wicket.

Captain Abhishek Tiwari was dismissed for 25 runs. Middle-order batsman Santosh Yadav contributed 18 runs while Pratik Bhattarai collected 12 runs.

Singapore's Hariharan alone took 3 wickets while Harsh Venkatram and Kabir Berlia grabbed two wickets each.
