Nepal has reached the final of the ACC U-16 East Zone Cup by defeating Singapore by 97 runs.
With the win, Nepal will play Malaysia on Tuesday for the title.
Chasing the target of 185 runs set by Nepal, Singapore were bowled out for 87 runs in 31.3 overs. Roshan Ravichandran contributed 24 runs for Singapore. Other batters did not perform well.
Nepal's Karthik Kamat took 3 wickets to keep Singapore at a low score. Santosh Yadav, Naren Bhatt, Ashok Dhami, Abhishek Tiwari and Pratik Pokharel took 1 wicket each.
Earlier, electing to bat first after winning the toss at the Bayuemas Oval Cricket Ground in Malaysia, Nepal notched up 184 runs in 35 overs losing nine wickets.
Opener Suryanshu Koirala topped the score with 43 runs followed by Niraj Yadav with 42 runs. Yadav and Koirala shared a partnership of 63 runs in 11.3 overs for the first wicket.
Captain Abhishek Tiwari was dismissed for 25 runs. Middle-order batsman Santosh Yadav contributed 18 runs while Pratik Bhattarai collected 12 runs.
Singapore's Hariharan alone took 3 wickets while Harsh Venkatram and Kabir Berlia grabbed two wickets each.
