Ruling Nepali Congress is going to live-broad its Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting for the first time in history.
The NC CWC meeting is starting today at 1 pm at the Central Party Office in Sanepa.
Krishna Prasad Paudel, chief secretary of the Congress Central Office informed that the preparations are underway to live-stream the meeting according to the proposal of President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
“The NC is going to live-stream the CWC meeting for the first time", Paudel said.
According to Chief Secretary Paudel, the meeting can be watched live from the party's official Facebook page.
President Deuba proposed to live-broadcast the CWC meeting in the meeting of office bearers and former office bearers at his residence in Dhumbarahi on Monday.
Accordingly, the Congress is going to live-stream the meeting of the CWC starting today.
A total of 10 agendas have been prepared for the meeting. According to General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma, the 10 agendas include:
1. Current affairs (economics, foreign affairs)
2. Organizational action plans and schedules
3. Proposing the decision of the work execution committee during the CWC meeting
4. Report of the Election Steering Committee
5. The policy convention
6. Formation of departments, additions and explanations of work
7. Announcing a nationwide campaign
8. Submission of Disciplinary Committee Report
9. Report of performances of the parliament
10. Information about government activities
In this meeting, it is said that the non-establishment group will also raise the issue of suspending the leader Bal Krishna Khand, who is imprisoned in the case of fake refugees.
