Gold seized at TIA weighs 155 kg including case

The gold recovered from the Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday morning has been weighed by the Nepal Rastra Bank.

An officer at the Department of Revenue Investigation informed Nepalkhabar that there were 155 kilograms of gold along with the brake shoes while weighing.

The seized gold was taken to the Mint Division was brought to verify the recovered gold.

The gold seized on Wednesday was sent to Nepal Rastra Bank in Baluwatar for quality check and weighing on Thursday morning.

The gold was 155 kg when weighed by the Mint Division.
