Former Miss Nepal and Journalist Malvika Subba has divorced her husband Riyaz Shrestha.
Malvika revealed this in the podcast called 'The Fourth Trimester' hosted by Priyanka Karki and added that she got divorced two years ago.
Talking to Priyanka during the show, Malvika said,” I left home when my son was two years old. I took that decision alone after it was very difficult for me. My family did not support me. It's okay now. It took me three to four years to come into terms with the new life.”
She said that she got divorced four years after she left home.
“I didn't take anything from the divorce. We mutually decided to co-parent our son. I didn't regret the divorce, but I felt empty and emotionally numb after I signed the divorce paper,” she said.
She further said that even though her relationship with her husband has deteriorated, she will never separate her son from his father and family.
