Boy swept away by Samakhusi rivulet found in Dakshinkali after 11 days

Body of Sajan Ale Magar, 13, who went missing after being swept away by the flood-fed Samakhusi rivulet, Kathmandu has been found in Dakshinkali on Thursday.

Spokesperson of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, DSP Kumod Dhungel informed that the body was found along the Bagmati River bank in Dakshinkali today.

The rain-triggered flood in the Samakhusi rivulet had taken away the schoolboy on last July 23. Continuous efforts were made to search the disappeared boy. The lifeless body of Sujan was found in 11th day today since his disappearance in the rivulet, DSP Dhungel shared.

Local people had informed the police after they noticed the dead body.
