Tribhuvan Army Club has inflicted a humiliating defeat on Sudurpaschim in a match of the ANFA Women’s League on Tuesday.
In the match held at ANFA Complex in Satdobato, Lalitpur today, Army routed Sudurpaschim 14-1, after striker Deepa Shahi performed brilliantly.
Shahi scored five goals including a hat-trick while Anita Lamjel added two more goals to lead Army to a flying victory.
Similarly, Bimala Chaudhary, Hima Chaudhary, Chandra Bhandari, Sanju Kumar, Bimala BK, Sabitri Devi Magar scored one goal each for Army. Sudurpaschim’s Shanti BK scored a suicide goal.
Likewise, Sudurpaschim got on the scorecard after Army’s Nilam Singh scored into her own net.
This is the largest margin of victory to date in the ongoing league.
