Nepal lost to Pakistan by 238 runs in the Asia Cup held on Wednesday.
Chasing the mammoth target of 343 runs set by Pakistan, Nepal was all out with 104 runs in 23.4 overs.
This is the biggest target in history Nepal has ever received in ODI cricket tournament while playing against Pakistan, which is atop of the ODI rankings.
The batsmen of the Nepali team, who fielded badly, could not stay at the crease for a long time.
Sompal Kami made the highest 28 runs followed by Aarif Sheikh with 26 runs and Gulsan Jha with 13 runs. The other batsmen could not score any double-digit runs.
To restrict Nepal to 104 runs, Shadab Khan claimed the highest four wickets, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf grabbed two wickets each while Naseem Shah and Mohammad Nawaz took one wicket for Pakistan.
Earlier, electing to bat first after winning the toss at the Multan International Cricket Stadium, home team Pakistan notched up 342 runs losing six wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
Captain Babar Azam hit the record 151 runs studded with 14 fours and four sixes off 149 balls. Iftikhar Ahmed made 109 runs including 11 fours and four sixes while Mohammad Rizwan contributed 44 runs.
In reply, Sompal Kami grabbed two wickets while Sandeep Lamichhane and Karan KC took one wicket each for Nepal.
