The ongoing Asia Cup cricket match between Nepal and India resumed in Sri Lanka. Earlier, the game was halted due to rain.
There is a good presence of people from Nepal to support the Nepali team for the match underway at Pallekele Cricket Stadium in Kandy.
Federal Member of Parliament and Rastriya swantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balendra Shah, Nepali cine artist Barsha Siwakoti among others are in Sri Lanka to watch the match.
The match had been stopped due to rain when it was in 37.5 overs. In 37.5 overs, Nepal notched up 178 runs losing six wickets in 37.5 overs.
