Four electric vehicles have been put on display at the NADA Auto Show for the onlookers only.
NETA and BYD have imported new models of vehicles from China just for the demonstration to attract customers at the Auto Show that started from Tuesday.
There is a legal provision that auto dealers can bring in vehicles only for exhibition purposes.
NETA, the official dealer of Chaudhary Group (CG) Motors under Chaudhary Group in Nepal, has brought three models for the exhibition.
The company has been selling and distributing only NETA V in Nepal. CG has said that the NETA U of the SUV segment will be brought to Nepal soon.
It gives a range of up to 610 km on a single full charge, according to the company.
NETA has introduced a long range version of the NETA S Auto Show. The Sedan segment vehicle was launched in China 1 year ago.

NETA S has been producing 715 laser radar version, 650 in four-wheel version and 520 in standard version. The NETA S is available in the sports car segment, too.
The NETA GT, which is compared to a Tesla vehicle in terms of performance, is on display.
A car with two doors has four seats. Presented as an electric super car, it has a 1.3 square meter panoramic sunroof.
The vehicle has a 17.6-inch central control screen. It can travel up to 580 km on a single charge. It is a vehicle with 170 kW and 340 kW motors.
Similarly, the Chinese brand BYD Seal has been placed for display. The Seal can travel up to 700 kilometers on a single charge.
Yamuna Shrestha, the Managing Director of Cimex Inc, said that the BYD Seal will soon be launched in the Nepali market.
Shrestha further said that even though they are not currently on sale, they are kept in stores to let people know about BYD's products.
