Prachanda to meet Chinese President in Hangzhou and Prime Minister in Beijing

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that he will hold a high-level political meeting during his China visit from September 22.

Prachanda said this while informing the meeting of the House of Representatives about his upcoming visit to the United Nations and China on Friday.

He has also informed that he will go to Hangzhou directly from New York on September 22 to visit neighboring country, China.

Due to time limitation, he had to go directly from New York to China, Prachanda said.

Nepal and China have close relations. In recent days, the relationship has become more vibrant", he said, "China has been promoting the interests of Nepal. This is my third visit as the Prime Minister of Nepal. Efforts will be made to utilize this visit for the benefit of Nepal and the Nepali people.”

He said he would land directly in Hangzhou from New York. "I have a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Hangzhou", he said, "I will participate in the opening ceremony of Asiad on the same day."

The Prime Minister further said that he will fly to Beijing from Hangzhou. "There will be a meeting with Prime Minister Li Qiang in Beijing on September 25", he said, "Then I will visit Chongqing, China."

He is scheduled to visit Tibet before wrapping up his China visit.
