Hearing of rape case against Sandeep adjourned citing lack of judges

The hearing of the rape case against cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has been adjourned yet again.

Kathmandu District Court adjourned the trial citing lack of judges while the case was being heard today for the final settlement.

The hearing of the case against Sandeep was scheduled for today when the Nepali national cricket team flying to China to participate in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou.

Sandeep would not have been allowed to go to China if the hearing of the case had proceeded on Sunday. But the Kathmandu District Court adjourned the trial without assigning a bench citing lack of judges.
