A plane of the national flag carrier Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), which flew from Kathmandu to Dammam, Saudi Arabia, has returned from the middle of the air route.
According to the airport office, the flight RA 412 of Nepal Airlines, which flew from Tribhuvan International Airport to Dammam at 12:14 am (midnight), landed in Kathmandu again at 4:51 (am) this morning.
According to the general manager of the airport, Pratap Babu Tiwari, the Kathmandu-Dammam flight was diverted to Kathmandu due to technical glitches.
After reaching the skies of Pakistan, the pilot turned the plane back to Kathmandu due to technical problems.
Traffic collision avoid system (TCAS) is a device used to indicate when a ship is approaching other ships while in flight.
"TCAS is a system connected to the ship, it guides the pilot to prevent the flying ship from colliding with another ship," said General Manager Tiwari.
According to the airport, the passengers of the said ship will be sent to their destination by arranging another plane.
