Industrialist Mukunda Timilsina has been appointed as the president of Nepal Finland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NFCCI).
An annual general meeting of the NFCCI held recently elected a 26-member working committee led by Timilsina.
The federation has appointed Rajesh Kaji Shrestha as the patron of and Prajwal Jung Pandey, Sunil KC and Shakti Kumar Begani as the vice presidents of the NFCCI.
Similarly, Bishwesh Shrestha has been elected as the General Secretary and Deependra Sigdel as Treasurer. Similarly, Sitaram Thapa and Urusha Chapagain as secretaries.
Likewise, Arjun Paudel, Bijaya Paudel, Bharat Shrestha, Chetan Bhandari, Dim Prasad Paudel, Gorme Dorjee Sherpa, Nil Krishna Tamkrakar and Pradeeksha Sharma have been elected as members, the NFCCI.
Also elected as members include Prakash Bahadur Khatri, Prakash Pandey, Rajendra Dhakal, Rajendra Sapkota, Rajesh Lma, Rajesh Kumar Adukiya, Sanjeev Kumar Pandey, Shiva Dhakal and Uttam Silwal.
According to the Department of Customs, Nepal had imported goods worth 304 million, 714 thousand rupees in the previous fiscal year.
Nepal had exported goods worth 85 million,761thousand rupees.
