Nepal is taking on Japan in the first semi-final of the ACC U-19 Premier Cup in Malaysia today (Saturday).
The match will start at YSD Cricket Oval Bangi Cricket Ground at 7:30 am.
Nepal entered the last four as the winner of Group 'A' and Japan Group 'B'.
In the group stage, Nepal defeated Iran by 274 runs and Bahrain by 7 wickets in the second match.
In the last match of the group stage, Nepal defeated Saudi Arabia by 301 runs and reached the semi-final as the group winner.
Similarly, Japan, which is in Group D, defeated Hong Kong by 57 runs and Indonesia by 9 wickets based on the D/L method.
By defeating Malaysia by 6 runs based on the D/L method, Nepal was declared as the group winner.
In the second semi-final match to be held today, Group B winner UAE and Group C winner Singapore will face each other. The match will be played at 9:30 am.
The final of the Premier Cup will be held on Tuesday.
The two teams that will reach the finals and the one that will finish third will qualify for the Asia Cup to be held in December.
