ACC U-19 Nepali cricket team.
Nepal and UAE are locking their horns for the ACC U-19 Premier Cup title in Malaysia.
The final match is scheduled to start at Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur at 7:30 am.
Nepal reached the last four as the winner of Group 'A'. Nepal defeated Japan by 144 runs in the D/L method in the first semi-final and qualified for the final.
Nepal defeated Iran by 274 wickets and Bahrain by 7 wickets in the first match of the group stage. Similarly, it defeated Saudi Arabia by 302 runs in the last match of the group stage.
On the other hand, UAE made it to the semi-finals as the winner of Group B.
UAE beat China by 9 wickets and Oman by 3 wickets in the group stage and clinched a 10-wicket win against Qatar.
In the semi-final, UAE defeated Singapore by 10 wickets in the D/L method and confirmed the meeting with Nepal.
Along with making it to the finals, both Nepal and UAE teams have also booked their berth in the U-19 Asia Cup to be held in Pakistan.
Japan, which is in third place in the Premier Cup, has also qualified for the Asia Cup.
In the third-place match held on Monday, Japan defeated Singapore by 16 runs in the D/L method and confirmed its place in the Asia Cup.
