I urged Secretary General Guterres to conclude peace process: PM

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that he held discussions on peace process and climate change during a meeting with United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, who is currently in Nepal on a four-day official visit.

Prime Minister Prachanda said so at a press conference organized after welcoming Secretary General Guterres at Singh Darbar on Sunday.

In addition, he informed that the peace process of Nepal is in the final stage and asked Secretary General Guterres to play an important role to successfully conclude it.

“Nepal's peace process is at its final stage. I asked Secretary General Guterres to play an important role as the Secretary General of the United Nations to bring it to a logical conclusion," said Prime Minister Prachanda.

Likewise, Prime Minister Prachanda informed that bilateral interests and national and international interests were were discussed in the meeting.
