Nepal has received a 146-run target from Oman at the ninth match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier.
Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Oman notched up 145 runs losing nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Oman’s skipper Zeeshan Maqsood made the highest 32 runs including one four and three sixes off 26 balls. Similarly, Naseem Khushi and Pratik Athavale contributed 25 and 24 runs, respectively.
In reply, Karan KC took the highest three wickets giving away 43 runs in four overs for Nepal. Sompal Kami and Sandeep Lamichhane have claimed two wickets each while Gulsan Jha and Abinash Bohara claimed one each.
Nepal has already booked a berth in the semi-finals of the ICC Men’s T20 Asia Region Qualifier by registering a six-wicket win against Malaysia on Tuesday.
